Welcome! We are blessed that you have visited our website today. Bethel AME Church has served the Historic Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans for over 100 years. Our church focuses on prayer, teaching, and preaching of God’s Word. We strive to fulfill Jesus’ mandate to “go into all the world and preach the gospel” (Mark 16:15).
As you view our website, you will meet our pastors and see links for prayer requests, online giving, upcoming activities, and our other social media platforms.
We invite you to worship with us on Sundays at our 11:00 a.m. service or Wednesdays at our 6:30 p.m. Bible Study. Join us as we magnify the Lord and exalt his name together!
